Job summary

Public Works, Rebuild Authority is seeking an experienced Scheduler II/III to develop, maintain, and report on schedules for a portfolio of recovery and rebuild capital projects. The anticipated rough order magnitude of the portfolio is approximately $800 million.

Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling on public capital or construction projects, with advanced proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project, and a background in Construction Management,

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of project scheduling experience on public capital or construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• Education background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Ability to develop CPM baseline schedules and maintain them through updates.
• Ability to build and maintain an integrated master program schedule across multiple projects.
• Skilled in reviewing contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules for contract compliance; consider factors like meetings, partner agency work, and funding.
• Ability to prepare and evaluate time impact analyses and delay claims.
• Ability to perform resource loading and cost loading, and to support earned value reporting.
• Ability to produce schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, milestone reports, and executive summaries.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for management presentations.
• Ability to coordinate with project managers, design consultants, contractors, and partner agencies to identify risks and mitigation options.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules for compliance.
• Develop and maintain CPM schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
• Create integrated master schedules across programs.
• Prepare time impact analyses and delay claims.
• Perform resource and cost loading; support earned value reporting.
• Produce clear schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, milestones, and executive summaries.
• Coordinate with project managers, design consultants, contractors, and partner agencies on schedule risks and mitigations.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
