Job summary

ENGICON CM seeks a seasoned Construction Manager II to drive strategic and operational support for CM and Inspection teams. You will standardize procedures, lead onboarding, and advance staff development while collaborating with Division Management and project stakeholders to improve delivery quality.

The role emphasizes horizontal infrastructure delivery, contract management, and continuous process improvement within a public agency context, with an in-office position but potential hybrid

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 10 years in construction management of horizontal infrastructure projects.
• Licensed professional or CCM certification.
• Education in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured onboarding sessions for Construction Managers and Inspectors to ensure consistent understanding of PMD III requirements.
• Identify training gaps and recommend onboarding, technical training and professional development improvements.
• Provide mentoring to County staff and consultants to promote consistency in best practices.
• Support staff alignment, including project and inspector assignments and portfolio performance reporting.
