Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a top-performing sales professional to sell public safety software solutions, including CAD, records management, jail management, and analytics, to new customers. You will cultivate relationships with large cities and counties, using demonstrations, presentations, and visits.

The role emphasizes proactive territory development, understanding procurement processes, and achieving aggressive sales quotas across regional agencies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 4+ years in sales or related public safety fields
• Or 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, customer success, and/or public safety experience
• Experience with multi-level stakeholders and committees a plus
• Experience selling enterprise software solutions
• CRM upkeep, forecasting, and maintaining sales pipeline activities

Responsibilities

• Sell Motorola’s CAD, records management, jail management, evidence management, analytics, and situational awareness software to new customers
• Hunter role targeting large-city and county agencies
• Build customer relationships through phone, visits, demos and regional user groups
• Coordinate with state and local officials on multi-jurisdictional projects
• Navigate local government procurement processes
