Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 3.5 years of progressively responsible professional planning experience including data collection and evaluation of physical, social, economic and environmental information.
  • Involvement in integration of information for policy options and advisement to agencies on planning concepts and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning studies and develop plans for geographic areas, major facilities, or statewide activities.
  • Coordinate input from agencies and stakeholders, and analyze social, economic, physical and environmental factors in plan development.
  • Present plans and policy recommendations, including alternatives and consequences, to decision makers and at public hearings.
