Job summary

Horizon House, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor to lead RTFA nursing staff and coordinate behavioral and physical health care for program participants. You will supervise LPNs and RNs, maintain records, and support treatment planning under the Director’s guidance.

The role requires PA RN licensure, experience in mental health settings, and strong communication skills. On-site work with on-call responsibilities is expected, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania required.
• Experience in community mental health or substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric clinical and psychosocial rehabilitation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and computer skills; detail-oriented and organized.
• Team-oriented with ability to handle on-call crises.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RTFA nursing staff (LPN/RN) and coordinate program participants' care.
• Maintain medical and behavioral health records; review charts regularly.
• Attend team meetings to review medications, treatment plans, and scheduling.
• Monitor participant medications; assist psychiatrist with prior authorizations.
• Coordinate health care needs and goals per individual recovery plans.
• Maintain nursing schedules and ensure adequate coverage; delegate tasks.
