Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee staffing, patient safety, and quality care across units. You will collaborate with Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses to maintain appropriate coverage and coordinate between departments.

Responsibilities include directing float pool staffing, ensuring timely reports, and serving as a liaison for risk and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives call-ins, assigns float pool staff, and makes appropriate reassignments or changes in staff schedule to meet staffing levels.
• Collaborates with Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses to maintain adequate staffing for units and shifts.
• Collaborates with Access Intake Center staff to ensure appropriate patient placement.
• Communicates information intra- and interdepartmentally.
• Acts as a resource to nursing units and serves as liaison for issues.
• Provides written/verbal reports to Nurse Managers, Risk Manager, or Quality Improvement Director.
