CJ Schwan’s is seeking a seasoned PSM/Safety professional to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations across facilities. You will support process safety management, lead investigations, and coordinate safety programs for ammonia refrigeration systems.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and the ability to work in a matrix organization with up to 50% domestic travel. Experience with PSM, HazID/HazOp, and RAGAGEP is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Environmental/Engineering or related area.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Expertise in EPA/OSHA compliance requirements.
• Experience with PSM and ammonia systems preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, APSM software preferred.
• Domestic travel up to 50%.

Responsabilités

• Supports compliance with OSHA’s Process Safety Management Standard, EPA’s Chemical Accident Prevention Provision Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulation and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Dotted-line support across multiple facilities and PSM staff members.
• Coaches and develops talents of junior PSM staff members.
• Supports key compliance activities for the 14 Elements of PSM and RMP including PSM elements.
