Job summary

JBS Tolleson is seeking a PSM Coordinator to maintain the Ammonia Refrigeration Safety & Best Practices program. You will lead MOC, coordinate PHAs, keep audits ready, and track corrective actions across shifts.

This role requires collaboration with the Plant Engineer, safety teams, and maintenance personnel, with emphasis on documenting training, SOPs, and preventive measures for ammonia systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Word and Excel software applications.
• AutoCAD experience is helpful.
• Two years working experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and PSM requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Coordinate and ensure all PHA’s are performed as required.
• Ensure PSM program is always audit ready.
• Schedule and coordinate quarterly updates with the Plant Engineer and affected employees on all PHA open items.
• Assist facility Safety in managing the Hot Work Program and Emergency Action Plan.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are written on all ammonia equipment and are maintained current.
• Provide PSM leadership across all shifts in establishing and implementing PSM program and ammonia initiatives.
• Train Refrigeration Operators and maintain training documentation.
• Revise the facility PSM program according to corporate revisions.
