Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a PSA Engineer to support the Geared Turbofan PW1100G-JM and PW1100G-2-JM programs. You will lead engine performance analyses, system integration, and certification activities across development and fielded engines.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring safety and reliability in propulsion systems for next-generation aircraft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience, and/or an advanced degree with 5+ years in aerospace engineering.
• Experience in systems engineering and certification processes within propulsion programs.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools and methods, and strong programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide data review and recommendations to CTS during events; coordinate with ED&L, ASDI, Lube Systems, and CIPTs as needed.
• Create and present technical review content of field events and studies to customers and leadership.
• Help ensure smooth Entry Into Service for PW1100G family engines and support product upgrades and safety reviews.
• Support safety, reliability, and performance improvements across production, aftermarket, and fielded engines.
