Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of project and program management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects with significant technical, financial, and organizational impact.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, risk management, resource planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems requiring investigation, analysis, strategic thinking, and creative solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience developing and improving operational processes, systems, and organizational practices.
• Ability to influence decisions and gain cooperation from stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Agile or hybrid development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads mission-critical propulsion projects, often with tight schedules and significant technical risk.
• Acts as lead interface with internal leadership and external stakeholders/customers.
• Drives strategic alignment, technical prioritization, and multi-program coordination.
• May own a portfolio of propulsion subsystems or upgrades.
