Job summary

Agile Space Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to drive technical execution across multidisciplinary teams developing in-space propulsion systems, engines, and related components.

The role reports to the engineering leadership in Durango, CO, with collaborative cross-functional work across PM, Systems Engineering, and Product Leads. The ideal candidate brings strong hardware development experience and a track record of technical leadership in fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Aerospace or hardware product development experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to resolve complex development issues.
• Experience working with customers and cross-functional organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development plans, technical logic, work packages, priorities, and key milestones.
• Coordinate technical execution across engineering, manufacturing, test, supply chain, quality, suppliers, and customers.
• Partner with Program Management to align technical objectives, resources, cost, and schedule.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and drive cross-functional issues to resolution.
• Coordinate technical risk and opportunity management.
• Maintain program technical baselines and manage technical changes.
• Manage technical documentation, gated reviews, interim reviews, and customer deliverables.
• Align program execution with Systems Engineering, Product Leads, and Technical Fellows.
