Job summary

Agile Space Industries in Durango, CO seeks an experienced Project Engineer to drive in-space propulsion systems development. You will collaborate across Program Management, Systems Engineering, Product Leads, and manufacturing to keep scope aligned with objectives, cost, and schedule.

The role demands strong hardware product development experience, technical leadership, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical field.
• Aerospace or hardware product development experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to work through complex development issues.
• Experience working with customers and cross-functional organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development plans, technical logic, work packages, priorities, and milestones.
• Coordinate technical execution across engineering, manufacturing, test, supply chain, quality, suppliers, and customers.
• Partner with Program Management to align technical objectives, resources, cost, and schedule.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and drive cross-functional issues to resolution.
• Coordinate technical risk and opportunity management.
• Maintain program technical baselines and manage technical changes.
• Manage technical documentation, gated reviews, interim reviews, and customer deliverables.
• Align program execution with Systems Engineering, Product Leads, and Technical Fellows.
