Job summary

Agile Space Industries, based in Durango, CO, seeks a Senior Specialist Program Manager IV to lead complex aerospace development and production programs across the propulsion portfolio. You will manage programs from concept through qualification, production, and lifecycle support, guiding cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

The role requires extensive project management expertise, strong business acumen, and data-driven decision making to drive execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Lead large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects with significant technical, financial and organizational impact.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, risk management, resource planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems requiring investigation, analysis, strategic thinking, and creative solutions.
• Experience developing and improving operational processes, systems, and organizational practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex aerospace programs and strategic initiatives, ensuring cost, schedule, technical, and quality objectives.
• Develop and manage integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, test, and operations.
• Drive governance activities: milestone reviews, gate reviews, executive briefings, customer reviews.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project managers and teams.
• Establish and maintain effective communication across stakeholders.
• Improve PMO processes, templates, and reporting methodologies.
• Support forecasting, resource planning, and strategic program assessments.
