Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/STEM field with 8+ years’ experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Strong understanding of solid mechanics and classical mechanics principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, test, and production of solid rocket motor hardware (nozzles, cases, propellant, integration hardware).
• Provide accurate 3D models, drawings, and specifications for motor components.
• Perform structural analysis (closed-form and finite element) and evaluate test data.
• Develop and maintain design/analysis documentation and test plans/reports.
• Plan and support development, qualification, and production testing of flight hardware.
