Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Promontory, Utah is seeking Design & Analysis Engineers (Level 2 or 3) to join our Space Sector. You will work on solid rocket motor design and analysis, producing 3D models, drawings, and specifications while supporting development, qualification and production testing.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will interact with Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, and other groups to ensure requirements are met, and you may be matched to teams based on skills and business needs.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanics and classical mechanics principles knowledge.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to pass SEA background checks where applicable.
• Excellent written and oral communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze solid rocket motor components.
• Provide 3D models, drawings, and specs on time.
• Contribute to trade studies balancing performance, cost, schedule.
• Develop engineering documentation and test plans.
