Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer with deep experience in pressurized fluid systems to own the feed-system design of the propulsion modules that fly on Apex spacecraft.

You will lead the fluids architecture from tank through thruster, define tests, and ensure range safety compliance. You will collaborate with in-house propulsion teams and manufacturing to design safe, verifiable feed systems and mentor other engineers while driving design-for-manufacturing for serial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical engineering.
• 6+ years in fluid systems engineering; hands-on with pressurized feed systems.
• Experience designing to MEOP/proof/burst FS; range safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the propellant feed-system design: architecture, components, routing.
• Design pressurized fluid systems with safety factors and MEOP/proof/burst.
• Perform fluids analysis: flow, pressure drop, transients, thermal effects.
• Design tubing, joints, routing for launch environments and ICDs.
• Define and execute feed-system test campaigns: leak, proof, burst, functional.
• Oversee range safety and pressure-systems compliance per SSCMAN/AFSPCMAN 91-710.
• Support propellant servicing and safety; interface with component teams.
• Collaborate with thruster/cathode/PPU teams; ensure manufacturability.
• Lead root-cause investigations; mentor other engineers.
