Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. seeks a Lead Propulsion Integration Engineer to own propulsion modules on our spacecraft, from requirements through design, integration, and launch.

You will lead engineers, set architecture standards, manage propellant servicing, and ensure mass, cost, power, and interfaces meet vehicle requirements. This hands-on leadership role partners with systems, structures, thermal, avionics, power, and manufacturing teams to scale production and deliver flight-ready propulsion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, propulsion engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in spacecraft propulsion or related hardware.
• Experience leading engineers as a technical lead or manager.
• Strong propulsion module and feed-system design experience.
• Experience owning hardware against vehicle-level requirements and budgets.
• Hands-on experience with spacecraft propellant servicing and ground support.

Responsibilities

• Lead propulsion module integration team and set technical standards.
• Own propulsion module architecture across spacecraft platforms.
• Translate requirements into complete propulsion module designs.
• Deliver flight-ready modules within mass, cost, and power constraints.
• Oversee propellant servicing, fill/drain operations, and ground support.
• Ensure safety documentation and range compliance.
• Collaborate with systems, structures, thermal, avionics, power, manufacturing, and QC teams.
• Support vehicle integration, tests, launches, and anomaly investigations.
