Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Propulsion Delivery Quality Manager III in Mobile, AL, to oversee end-to-end quality for the A320 Propulsion System from pre-FAL inspections to aircraft delivery.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive root-cause problem solving, and protect key milestones while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, extensive propulsion and quality experience, and the ability to manage complex interfaces with airline customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical or engineering background required.
• 8–10 years of working experience in aircraft propulsion systems or related fields.
• Experience with quality management systems and customer-facing quality roles.
• Knowledge of end-to-end delivery processes in aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Airbus primary representative in front of the airline customer for PPS presentations and inspections prior to FAL delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive root-cause analysis, containment and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System, health and safety standards, and POA rules.
• Monitor supplier performance, drumbeat recovery actions and escalation of Red Quality Gates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and geographic/functional project work.
