Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a PPV Leader to join its Manufacturing & Quality Engineering team in Mobile, Alabama. You will lead industrial process qualification and assess manufacturing systems to ensure they can produce conforming items in serial production at scale.

The role requires 3+ years in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Control, with hands-on PFMEA, FAI, PPAP/APQP, and MSA experience. On-site work with strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with quality methodologies (PFMEA, FAI, PPAP/APQP, MSA).
• Ability to manage multiple complex technical projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Industrial Process Qualification: coordinate technical reviews of manufacturing systems for repeatable serial production.
• Evidence & Readiness Validation: assess compliance evidence and qualification of Jigs & Tools, control/inspection plans, MSA.
• First Article & Routing Analysis: oversee FAI and routing comparisons for serial readiness.
• Risk Mitigation & Gap Resolution: track corrective actions and drive closure for production readiness.
• Multi-Functional Team (MFT) Support: advise stakeholders to resolve technical risks.
