Job summary

Relativity Space in Colorado is hiring a skilled CFD analyst to contribute to design and qualification of combustion devices hardware for Terran R. You will perform CFD analyses, review data, and collaborate with propulsion and hardware teams to influence design decisions.

A Bachelor’s in engineering or science, 5+ years CFD experience, and familiarity with Python or MATLAB are required. Nice to have STAR-CCM+ and rocket subsystem knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of performing computation fluid dynamics analyses.
• Familiar with typical analysis steps including pre/post-processing, meshing, boundary conditions.
• Experience with basic engineering scripting in Python or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and qualification of combustion devices hardware through CFD analysis.
• Review test and flight data to evaluate models.
• Interface with hardware designers to influence design decisions.
• Develop analysis approaches to reduce design iteration time.
