Relativity Space is seeking a CFD analyst to contribute to the design and qualification of combustion devices hardware (injectors, thrust chamber, heat exchangers) through Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis. You will review test and flight data to anchor models and interface with hardware designers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing computation fluid dynamics analyses.
• Familiar with pre/post-processing, meshing, boundary conditions, and standard CFD workflows.
• Experience with basic engineering scripting in Python, MATLAB, or similar.
• Strong background in fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and qualification of combustion devices hardware through Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis.
• Review test and flight data to evaluate and anchor CFD models.
• Interface with hardware designers to influence design decisions using thermofluid insights.
• Develop and recommend analysis approaches that may decrease design iteration time.
• Demonstrate accountability, collaboration, and execution across the propulsion team.
