Relativity Space, Inc. is building rockets like Terran R to advance customers' missions today and breakthroughs tomorrow. You will contribute to propulsion design by running CFD analyses on combustion devices and collaborating with hardware teams to inform decisions, with ownership and impact at every level.

You will review test data, iteratively improve models, and help push qualification toward flight, while working across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced, high-innovation environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field.
• 5+ years of CFD analyses experience (employment, internships, project).
• Familiar with CFD workflow including pre/post-processing, meshing, boundary conditions.
• Experience with scripting in Python or MATLAB.
• Strong background in fluid mechanics and heat transfer.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to design and qualification of combustion devices hardware through Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis.
• Review test and flight data to evaluate and anchor models.
• Interface with hardware designers and utilize thermofluid expertise to influence design decisions.
• Develop and recommend analysis approaches that may decrease design iteration time.
• A strong commitment to accountability, collaboration, and execution.
