Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Electrical Engineer within the Engine Hardware Products team to design propulsion electronics, control systems, and safety features for rocket engines powering current and next-generation propulsion systems.

You'll develop analog and digital circuits, collaborate with propulsion engineers, and drive hardware from concept through flight operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of electronics hardware design experience.
• Hands-on analog circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Lab work with oscilloscope, DMM, LCR, soldering, encapsulation, and coating.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits for propulsion system electronics and control systems.
• Develop PCB layouts and coordinate with manufacturers to build hardware assemblies.
• Test and debug electronic assemblies in lab environments and support flight testing.
• Collaborate with propulsion and systems engineers to define requirements and interfaces.
• Support hardware through the full product lifecycle from concept to production and flight operations.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to documentation and analysis.
• Work with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet production requirements.
