Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Avionics Electrical Engineer to design and develop propulsion electronics for rocket engines. You will create analog/digital circuits, develop robust PCB layouts, and verify hardware through lab testing and flight readiness.

You will collaborate with propulsion and systems teams across the full product lifecycle, supporting production and flight operations with rigorous design reviews and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in electronics hardware design and development.
• Hands-on experience with analog circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware testing.
• Experience with circuits development lab work (Oscilloscope, DMM, LRC, soldering, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits for propulsion system electronics and control systems
• Develop PCB layouts and work with manufacturing partners to build hardware assemblies
• Test and debug electronic assemblies in lab environments and support flight testing
• Collaborate with propulsion and systems engineers to define requirements and interfaces
• Support hardware through the full product lifecycle from concept to production and flight operations
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical documentation and analysis
• Work with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet production requirements
