Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Proposals Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead the coordination, tracking, development, submission, and negotiation of customer proposals across multiple Eaton sites.

You will drive proposal schedules, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and coordinate across sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, quality, and leadership to deliver high-quality responses by deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in proposal management or related function.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, develop, submission, and negotiation of customer proposals across Eaton sites.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, milestones, submission plans, and status reporting.
• Coordinate proposal activities across sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, contracts, quality, and leadership teams.
• Serve as the primary customer and internal communication focal point for proposal requirements, deadlines, clarifications, status, and information requests.
• Monitor proposal progress, identify risks, elevate late deliverables, and coordinate extension requests.
• Ensure proposal deliverables comply with customer requirements and internal procedures before submission.
• Submit completed proposals to customers and support audits of proposals when required.
• Coordinate responses to post-submission questions, review feedback, and support contract negotiations.
• Drive accountability for commitments and continuous improvement of proposal processes.
• Train and mentor team members on proposal management processes and best practices.
