Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division seeks a Technical Proposal Team Leader to drive complex proposals for electrical power systems across the Western Region. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: application engineering, proposal development, engineering, technical sales, or field service operations.
• Relocation assistance is not available; must reside in WA, OR, CA, UT, AZ, or CO.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR as per policy; background/drug screenings may apply.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of proposals for power distribution equipment maintenance, power system services, and field service projects.
• Guide the team in evaluating drawings, specs, scopes of work, labor requirements, and risk for proposals.
• Support government and federal proposals with compliance to contract and pricing rules.
• Present technical and commercial solutions and articulate Eaton’s value to customers and stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of digital tools and best practices to improve proposal quality and efficiency.
• Manage a geographically dispersed team and support talent development and succession planning.
