Eaton’s IS AER FMC Aerospace division seeks a Proposals Manager to lead multi-site proposal efforts, ensuring timely, compliant submissions while coordinating across sales, engineering, operations, and contracts. The role requires strong communication and rigorous project management across cross-functional teams.

With a focus on delivering high-quality proposals, you’ll manage schedules, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in proposal management or related functions.
• Experience coordinating complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills across priorities.
• Excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination, tracking, development, submission, and negotiation of customer proposals.
• Manage proposal schedules, milestones, and submission plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate activities across sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, contracts, quality, and leadership.
• Serve as primary customer/internal communication focal point for requirements and deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and coordinate extension requests when needed.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures before submission.
• Submit proposals to customers and support audits where required.
• Coordinate responses to post-submission questions and support negotiations.
• Drive accountability, resolve cross-functional issues, and improve proposal processes.
• Train and mentor team members on proposal management best practices.
