Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division seeks a Technical Proposal Team Leader to guide a team in developing complex proposals for electrical power systems and engineering services across the Western Region. The role requires translating technical concepts into compelling customer-facing proposals and collaborating with sales, services operations, and supply chain.

This position offers hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 days remote) with up to 25% travel and a salary range of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of: application engineering, proposal development, engineering, technical sales, or field service operations.
• Relocation assistance not available; must reside in WA, OR, CA, UT, AZ, or CO.
• Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record checked at hire.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of proposals for power distribution equipment maintenance, services, and field projects.
• Evaluate drawings, specs, scopes of work, and labor to develop technical and commercial proposals.
• Support proposals for government and federal customers, ensuring compliance with contract and pricing requirements.
• Present solutions and articulate Eaton’s value to customers and partners.
• Drive adoption of digital proposal tools and best practices to improve quality and efficiency.
• Manage a geographically dispersed team, focusing on performance, engagement, and talent development.
