Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to lead the drafting, editing, and coordination of complex proposals for government and commercial opportunities. You will manage cross‑functional authors across engineering and business teams to craft compelling content and visuals that respond to customer requirements.

You'll ensure timely delivery, maintain editorial standards, and help develop winning strategies and templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of professional experience publishing/editing documents.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and communicate complex customer requirements.
• Develop and manage proposal schedules.
• Draft proposal outlines.
• Coordinate section authors and deadlines.
• Gather technical information for proposals.
• Draft executive summaries and proposal text.
• Identify and develop supporting graphics.
• Edit for clarity, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ensure conformance to company format and style.
• Guide documents through review and approval processes.
• Prepare documents for print and delivery.
• Improve templates and proposal processes.
• Maintain repository of proposal information.
• Support SpaceX organizations with editing and communication.
