Job summary
KBI Biopharma is seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to develop technical proposals for contract development, analytics, and GMP manufacturing of biotherapeutics. You will collaborate with Business Development, Process Development, Analytical Development, Manufacturing, and Program Management across multiple sites, translating client needs into clear, compelling deliverables.
This remote‑option role includes global travel up to 10% and opportunities to work across KBI’s sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor with 5+ years experience in biotech or related roles.
- Strong scientific writing skills and ability to translate client needs into proposals.
- Experience with proposal or RFP writing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review RFPs with clients and SMEs to clarify scope and deliverables.
- Assemble proposals with background, objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Business Development and senior management to refine drafts.
- Ensure accuracy in content, pricing, and timelines per internal templates.
- Manage proposal deadlines and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Participate in client meetings to present capabilities and timelines.
- Maintain a centralized RFI/RFP knowledge database.
- Coordinate proposal development between BD and SMEs.
