Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Sr Proposal Manager to lead the Proposal Center within the Business Development organization. You will direct bid strategy, manage staff, and oversee the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for government and commercial customers.

The role demands strong writing, editing, and coordination across teams, with emphasis on compliance and timely delivery of complex proposals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 8+ years experience required.
• Experience managing high-value proposals.
• Expertise with proposal management software and AI tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in Aerospace/Defense and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• APMP Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the proposal development center and staff across bids.
• Plan, organize, facilitate and execute IDIQ proposals for government/commercial entities.
• Ensure proposal quality, compliance, and timely submissions.
• Coordinate documents, templates, schedules, and color reviews; lead status meetings.
