KBR’s Exploration & Logistics division seeks a highly organized Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end proposal development, ensure timely submission of compliant proposals, and collaborate with subject matter experts across functions.

The successful candidate will oversee planning, writing, editing, and quality assurance to translate complex capabilities into compelling responses; typically 9+ years in proposal management and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Typically 9+ years of proven experience in proposal management, business development, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP analysis to submission.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather necessary information for proposal content.
• Provides leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Identify and allocate resources effectively to meet proposal requirements.
• Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information into compelling proposals.
• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure proposals meet the highest quality standards.
• Implement best practices in proposal development to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.
• Interact with BD and Operations personnel to clarify requirements and address queries during the proposal development process.
• Foster positive relationships across teams through professional and effective communication.
• Contribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development.
