Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly organized Senior Proposal Manager to lead the end-to-end proposal development process for government bids, including RFP analysis and timely submission. The successful candidate will coordinate with subject matter experts, writers and the capture team, manage schedules, craft compelling narratives, ensure compliance, and contribute to business development.

Candidates should have 12+ years of direct proposal management experience on $100M+ bids, and APMP/Shipley experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 12+ years of direct proposal management experience on complex Government bids of $100M+.
• Proven ability delivering compliant, winning proposals aligned with capture directions.
• Experience with Shipley or similar proposal process; APMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from RFP analysis to submission.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather content.
• Provide leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity and compliance.
• Ensure high-quality standards through thorough reviews.
• Engage with BD and Operations to clarify requirements and address questions.
• Maintain a repository of proposal content and reusable materials.
