Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager for the Enterprise Proposal Center to lead the development of compliant, compelling proposals for federal opportunities. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules, and ensuring adherence to FAR/DFARS and RFP guidelines.

It is a US-Remote-Telework position with citizenship and clearance requirements. Applicants should have 12+ years of relevant experience with a BA or 8+ years with a MA, strong program management skills,

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing large-scale federal proposals.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Experience leading proposal teams and schedules.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development from kickoff to delivery with milestones.
• Coordinate with capture managers, SMEs, pricing, and compliance.
• Develop schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Ensure proposals comply with RFP requirements and guidelines.
• Manage Pink Team and Red Team reviews and revisions.
• Oversee final production and on-time submission.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Mentor junior proposal staff and support strategic planning.
