Jacobs is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the Energy & Power Americas bid process, owning end-to-end submissions and coordinating with SMEs to craft compelling value propositions.

The role focuses on producing high-quality proposals, presentations, and qualifications documents, in a team-driven, deadline-conscious environment. The company supports hybrid work and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience coordinating proposals, presentations, and related sales deliverables.
• Proposal experience in engineering, architecture, construction.
• Advanced verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills for sales messaging, themes, quality and content.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply Jacobs’ identity standards and sales process.
• Develop draft sections of sales documents to communicate value propositions.
• Coordinate and develop sales documents using guidelines and templates.
• Support Sales Operations Managers and Strategic Pursuits Leads in large pursuits.
• Manage response efforts across sizes and complexities.
• Develop and implement proposal directives and monitor progress.
• Organize color reviews for objective feedback on strategy and messaging.
• Organize meetings related to responses with internal/external teams.
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Work with graphic designers for desktop publishing of materials.
• Research and respond to information requests for proposals.
