Job summary

Jacobs seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to own end-to-end bid opportunities in the Energy & Power Americas unit. You will collaborate with capture teams, SMEs, and sales to develop compelling value propositions and high-quality submissions.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in proposal management, strong writing/editing skills, and proficiency in MS Office, Adobe CC, and Salesforce. This is a hybrid role with travel as needed and a focus on winning strategic pursuits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and coordinating proposals, presentations, and related sales or business development deliverables.
• Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills with a focus on sales messaging, themes, and aesthetics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal responses and manage the bid lifecycle to position Jacobs to win.
• Coordinate draft sections with SMEs using templates and guidelines.
• Support pursuit teams and organize response-related meetings and color reviews.
• Proofread and edit technical and non-technical documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Publish collateral and work with designers; maintain Salesforce and knowledge systems.
