Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to lead the most complex, high-value pursuits from start to submission. You will coordinate sales, technical, pricing, contracts, legal, program management, partners and vendors, acting as the quarterback for each bid and crafting compliant, win-focused responses using the content library and AI tools.

As a coach and process leader, you’ll mentor junior staff, improve templates, and drive strategies that boost win rates and revenue while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Five or more years of proposal writing or proposal management experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Proven project management skills; lead large cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to manage multiple complex, deadline-driven projects with little oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the largest, most complex and high-value pursuits, including multi-volume bids.
• Run the kickoff, define roles, track risks and actions, and manage many concurrent proposals.
• Coordinate color team reviews and drive comments to closure.
• Shape win strategy, themes, discriminators and value propositions; write executive summaries.
• Use AI tools to analyze solicitations, draft content, verify outputs and grow the library.
• Ensure compliance with forms, certifications and page limits; manage final assembly and submission.
