Job summary

Our client in the National AEC field, based in Orange County, seeks a seasoned Proposal Lead to join the Business Development and Marketing team. The role suits a highly organized, strategic professional who thrives on managing pursuit efforts and producing compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials in a fast-paced AEC environment.

The position is fully onsite in Central Orange County; hybrid or remote options are not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of proposal coordination, marketing, or business development experience.
• Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction preferred.
• Strong writing and editing to translate technical info into narratives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
• Familiarity with OpenAsset, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and related marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQs, RFPs, interview presentations, and pursuit submissions
• Coordinate schedules, deadlines, kickoff meetings, and deliverables
• Develop proposal strategy, messaging, and content with leadership and design teams
• Write, edit, and assemble high-quality proposal and presentation materials
• Partner with marketing and graphic teams to create polished submissions
• Maintain project sheets, resumes, and marketing collateral databases
• Monitor industry portals and identify new project opportunities
• Coordinate with consultants and teaming partners during pursuits
