Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Senior Proposal Coordinator and Editor in Herndon, VA, a hybrid role with onsite support as needed. You will lead proposal planning, editing, and production for large government bids, ensuring quality, compliance, and brand consistency.

The role combines coordination with editing responsibilities, requiring careful attention to detail, familiarity with RFPs, and the ability to work across Writers, Graphics, DTP, and SMEs to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related proposal coordination experience.
• 6+ years of proposal editing experience.
• Experience with Government proposals and ability to analyze solicitation requirements.
• Proficient in GPO, AP, and Chicago style guides, plus agency-specific guides.
• Familiarity with document management systems (Teams, SharePoint, Google Drive).
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Leads proposal planning, scheduling, and logistics across teams.
• Reads and interprets complex RFPs and amendments for instructions and compliance.
• Edits proposals for grammar, punctuation, terminology, and messaging while preserving technical meaning.
• Maintains version control and manages workspace access (Teams/SharePoint/Box).
• Prepares administrative proposal documents and slides; coordinates kickoff and standups.
• Oversee production, color reviews, and final proposal submissions, including packaging and delivery.
