Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue in Fort Myers is seeking a Senior Appraiser to support the Property Tax Oversight Program. You will inspect real properties, prepare USPAP-compliant appraisal reports, verify sales data, and collect market information while communicating clearly with property owners and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of appraisal experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to address complex valuation challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of single-property or mass appraisal experience.
• Experience collecting and analyzing large quantities of sale data.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel to compile and display validation data.
• Experience applying multiple approaches to value and appraisal methodology.

Responsibilities

• conduct field inspections of real property, vacant and improved.
• Write USPAP-compliant appraisal reports and verify sales data.
• Collect data and interview contractors, grantors, grantees, and agents.
• Communicate findings clearly and manage time effectively.
