Job summary

Indigo Real Estate Services in Washington, DC seeks an experienced property manager to oversee a portfolio of communities. You will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, and ensure financial performance across multiple properties.

The role requires deep knowledge of property management, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with ownership representatives. You will implement maintenance plans, monitor budgets, and lead vendor relations to maximize asset value.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience at on-site and supervisory levels.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Self-motivated and self-directed individual.
• Excellent communication with ownership representatives.
• Proficient in understanding financial statements and budgets.
• Working knowledge of property management software.
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing, Landlord/Tenant and ADA legislation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the physical assets and maximize returns.
• Oversee regulatory compliance related to owner's financing and mission.
• Supervise, train, and develop personnel within the portfolio.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate communities within portfolio.
• Review monthly financial reports and approve payments.
• Develop annual operating budgets and property management plans.
• Ensure property files and records are kept up to date.
