Job summary

Rose Associates seeks an experienced Resident Manager to lead one of its iconic office-to-residential conversions in New York City. You will manage daily operations, supervise staff performance, and coordinate maintenance, budgets, and safety programs to deliver a best-in-class resident experience.

The role requires extensive leadership, compliance knowledge, and strong vendor/contract management, with a focus on high-rise operations and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in maintenance and staff management.
• Experience with high-rise office building operations.
• Licenses and certificates: COF S12/S13/S95/P99 and EPA 608 Universal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi software.
• Ability to manage unions, especially 32BJ.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property operations and maintenance with a customer-focused approach.
• Oversee budgeting, preventive maintenance, and audits to ensure compliance.
• Lead, train, and evaluate building staff; approve payroll and actions.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and unions; ensure safety standards.
