Job summary

Rose Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Resident Manager to lead an ambitious office-to-residential conversion project in New York City. You will manage daily operations, supervise staff, coordinate vendors and ensure financial success of the property.

Lead safety, compliance, and building systems optimization while maintaining exceptional resident service and on-site leadership. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in maintenance and staff management.
• Experience implementing sustainable energy practices to optimize building efficiency.
• Experience with high-rise office building operations in the New York City market.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies and be on call 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property operations and maintenance with a focus on tenant concerns and delivering best-in-class service.
• Oversee maintenance and repair activities, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Develop and manage the building maintenance budget and monitor variances.
• Recruit, hire, lead, train, mentor and evaluate building staff and coordinate payroll.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and pass audits/inspections.
