Zusammenfassung

Markel is seeking an Executive Loss Control Specialist to support loss control and risk engineering across Property, Inland Marine, and Ocean Marine lines. You will assess exposures, develop risk control recommendations, and interact with underwriting and clients to optimize risk selection.

You will travel about 25% to perform on-site evaluations, deliver training, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. A strong engineering or risk management background is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Engineering, Risk Management, Fire Sciences preferred.
• Recognized certifications (P.E., CSP, ARM, CFPS) or willingness to pursue preferred.

Aufgaben

• Partner with Underwriting to select, retain and grow a profitable book of business.
• Develop risk control reports, report forms and documents for growth of property loss control.
• Complete on-site, virtual and desktop risk assessments for Property, IM & Ocean Marine accounts.
• Write technically detailed reports with clear risk assessments and recommendations.
• Deliver technical training to team members and underwriters; stay current with regulatory issues.
