Apartment-Management-Consultants seeks a Senior Property Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple sites in the Palo Alto area, supervising staff and resources to meet financial and operational goals.

The role requires 5 years of property management experience, proven leadership, budgeting skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing. Travel between sites is expected to mentor teams and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of property management experience
• Proven track record of leading teams, managing budgets, and achieving organizational goals.
• Experience overseeing multi-site operations or multiple departments/projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge in Fair Housing
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts

Responsibilities

• Travel between sites to mentor and train staff
• Oversee multiple sites of 400+ units
• Operate property within financial guidelines
• Perform daily inspections and coordinate with maintenance
• Supervise staff, schedules, duties, and conflict resolution
• Interview and hire property employees
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and issues reported
• Meet leasing objectives using effective sales techniques
• Handle resident requests with discretion and follow up on actions
• Manage administrative duties and required reporting
• Design and maintain resident retention programs and events
• Develop marketing and advertising concepts for staff to implement
• Ensure OSHA, Fair housing, and safety compliance
• Investigate/incidents involving residents, employees, vendors or others
