Job summary

Schochet is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee Plumley Village, a 430-unit family apartment community in Worcester, MA. The Senior Property Manager manages day-to-day operations and supervises office and maintenance staff, with a strong focus on resident satisfaction and affordable housing compliance.

The role requires leadership, Section 8 and LIHTC knowledge, and a COS designation, with bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of multifamily property management experience.
• Experience managing a property with 250+ residential units.
• Strong knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC and affordable housing regulations.
• COS designation is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of property operations to ensure an efficient, well-maintained, and professionally managed community.
• Supervise property management and maintenance staff; recruit, train, and evaluate team members.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, tenants, and the broader community.
• Oversee rent calculations, collections, subsidies, and related legal actions as needed.
• Prepare required reports, time sheets, and inspection/vacancy documentation.
