The Schochet Companies seek an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee Plumley Village, a 430-unit family community in Worcester, MA. You will lead day-to-day operations, supervise office and maintenance staff, ensure resident satisfaction, and manage occupancy and subsidies in compliance with program regulations.

The role requires five years of multifamily property management, LIHTC/Section 8 knowledge, COS designation, strong leadership, and bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of multifamily property management experience.
• Experience managing a property with 250 or more residential units.
• Strong knowledge of the Section 8 housing program, LIHTC and affordable housing regulations.
• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation required.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a large property management team.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Daily Operations: Oversee all aspects of property operations to ensure an efficient, well-maintained, and professionally managed community.
• Staff Leadership: Supervise property management and maintenance staff and assist with recruiting, training, and performance reviews.
• Resident and Community Relations: Foster positive communication with residents, vendors, and the broader community.
• Rent and Subsidy Administration: Oversee rent calculations, collection, and subsidy management.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.
• Compliance: Oversee recertifications, move-ins, inspections, and related records.
