Job summary

AlphaStaff, Inc. is seeking a Field Property Adjuster Specialist for a field-based role in Seattle, WA. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property claims while conforming to state requirements and using virtual inspection tools.

Requires 2 years of property claims adjusting, Xactimate proficiency, and ability to travel up to 75% of the year. A company vehicle is provided and overtime is paid on an hourly basis.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools.
• Hands-on field experience with high-severity and complex property claims.
• Residential construction knowledge and familiarity with policy terms.
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the year and work catastrophe duty if needed.
• Insurance adjuster license within 90 days and up to 3 attempts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages complex claims caseload with coverage review and liability assessment.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and coordinate with vendors and partners.
• Investigate damages using multiple sources and identify subrogation potential.
• Document claim files accurately and maintain current records throughout.
• Utilize estimating tech platforms to prepare accurate property estimates.
• Support CAT response and possible non-local deployment as needed.
