Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking a dedicated Field Property Adjuster Specialist for a Manhattan, KS assignment. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims within regulatory guidelines, utilizing virtual tools for inspections and estimates.

The role requires 2+ years in property claims adjusting, strong knowledge of Xactimate, and the ability to travel 50–75% yearly. A valid adjuster license and relocation capability to Manhattan, KS are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools.
• Hands‑on field experience with high‑severity and complex property claims.
• Proficient knowledge of residential construction.
• Proficient knowledge of property claims contracts and state laws.
• Proficient negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Travel 50-75% of the year and/or catastrophe duty as needed.
• Ability to relocate to Manhattan, KS.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages a claims caseload of complex damages.
• Collaborates with vendors and internal teams for complex resolutions.
• Investigates damages using various sources and identifies subrogation potential.
• Assesses coverage and liability through policy terms and contingencies.
• Negotiates settlements within authority limits and documents outcomes.
• Maintains thorough claim file documentation.
• Utilizes estimating platforms and virtual inspection tools for complex claims.
• Supports CAT response, including on-call requirements.
