Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking an Inside Senior Property Adjuster to handle complex property claims by phone, analyze coverage, and negotiate settlements in a compliant, regulated environment. You will work with insureds and third parties, applying estimating tools to prepare accurate claims assessments.

The role emphasizes communication, investigation, and negotiation skills, with travel up to 50% and potential CAT coverage. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site days.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of property adjusting or related experience with moderately complex claims.
• Residential construction knowledge preferred.
• Experience estimating losses with Xactimate.
• Strong negotiation, investigation, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of property claims contracts, laws and regulations.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work CAT requirements as needed.
• Obtain/maintain an adjusting license within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage a claims caseload of moderate complexity in a phone-centered environment.
• Investigate damages, analyze coverage and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal partners for resolution.
• Document claim files thoroughly and timely.
• Apply estimating tools to prepare property claim estimates.
• Support CAT operations and on-call duties when required.
• Stay compliant with regulatory requirements and policy terms.
